After a few weeks, err, days off from work and school, students and administrators alike had a chance to keep those nerves and muscles working by joining variety of sports. Unluckily to some, it was just a mere excuse to spend some eventful time at home sleeping or worse, having a vacation somewhere. For the nostalgic lot, this time of year means remembering the past; it is, after all the University’s 100^th year. Caught with the moment, they have just settled to join the “laro ng lahi” instead. The event also calls to rekindle old friendships and settle the growing rift (Miag-ao + Bluechips), to show off talents, (No, I don’t have to argue on this); and to prove to the whole world that everyone had a reason to believe on what we can be and what we can achieve. Whatever may be the reason for joining and not joining, the recent concluded Pahampang 2008 was tiring (just ask the football players) but fun! (just ask the cheerers) and undoubtedly had been a success.
